Smooth experience, decent quality

I needed to get some subtitles done for a short video project, so I gave HappyScribe a shot. Uploading the video was easy, and the interface for setting up the order felt pretty intuitive. I opted for the AI Subtitles. It took a bit to process, but I got the VTT Export file quickly. The subtitles themselves were mostly on point, though I did have to go back and fix some timing and a couple of words here and there. Nothing major, just typical AI stuff. Getting an SRT Export was also super handy. Delivery was right on time, no issues there. Felt like a pretty chill process overall.

AI is pretty solid for clear audio, especially if you have good mics. I'd say it's 90-95% accurate for me, which is usually enough to just quickly edit.

Depends on your needs. For really professional stuff or if there are multiple speakers with accents, human is definitely better. But the AI is surprisingly good for a first pass, saves a ton of time compared to doing it yourself.

Rev is good, but HappyScribe's multi-language support is way better if you need that. For basic English, they're both pretty comparable in AI quality, imo.
